I never pretended you werent a Xtian, show me where i said that.
I just said i didnt know. I only point out offspring since A) it says offspring with no clear connection to an allegory. B) JC never had children, C) I believe (as is clear from the context) that 53 is referring to the righteous of Yisra'el.
I put the hebrew cause i thought you could read it biased on your knowledge heres the English: "if My people, upon whom My name is called, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Ok so explain to me so i can understand you better. G-d commanded the Mishkan but not the Temple , but had no issues with the sacrifices at the temple?
Bolony-- and now you're cutting and pasting Hebrew in order to try to intimidate me- when clearly you're finding yourself cornered== now even trying to play with words.
The LORD blessed King David's intent-- you are taking the Scriptures out of context-- but the Lord NEVER COMMANDED a temple to be built for Him.. THAT is the point that you are explicitly DENYING... Again- we're going around in circles.
@613degrees Isaiah 53: 5 "He" was pierced for "our" transgressions, "he" was crushed for "our" iniquities; the punishment that brought "us" peace was upon "him," and by "his" wounds "we" are healed.
Isaiah 53: 10-- Yet it was the LORD'S will to crush him and cause him to suffer and though the LORD makes his life a GUILT OFFERING, he will see his offspring and prolong his days....
And of THIS FACT he gave proof through his Resurrection from the Grave!

@613degrees Ok...you got me. There is no such thing as "sons of God" (ie, offspring) unless you're born of the flesh from a father...
Oops, sorry-- Genesis 6 proves otherwise....but I guess that when it comes to Christians that what the Torah has to say it doesn't matter.

@613degrees Ah- now you pretend that I was not a Christian. You also try to get me with a trick question concerning PHYSICAL offspring...
Let me ask YOU a question: Are YOU not the OFFSPRING of God? Are you not a Son of God?
I guess since "offspring" can only refer to PHYSICAL OFFSPRING then you're not a Son of God- Right? Of course right!!

@613degrees I believe in the BIBLE- the WHOLE BIBLE-- you believe what you want to conveniently believe and your Rabbinical Interpretations.
Admit that there is no Temple when there is JUDGMENT upon Israel- and we'll stop here.

G-d did ask for a temple? Read 2 Shamuel 7:13.
Yermiyahu was the prophet of the last era of the 1 temple, if it was so unimportant why did Ezra rebuild it ?
