another thing that is fun with static electricity is to get a comb and rub it with a cotton cloth i think, then put a tap on and hold the statically charged comb next to the water. the water should bend towards it.
Im sorry but i tryed it hundred times like in this video is shown and ive never ever succeded.Ive rubbed pencil like crazy but nothing.Did anyone tryed this?
The static explanation is more complicated than it needs to be (as in using static is unneccessary not that the exaplanation is complicated). They obviously needed to make it look scientific when most feats of telekinesis you see are either caused by blowing or thread. Static has very limited potential for telekinesis and even a bad magician could pull of a feat like this without using "science", it is misleading.
