A Chinese man threw two plastic bottles at former Taiwanese President Lee Teng-hui at Narita airport as he was leaving for Taipei. Both bottles missed President Lee, and no one else was injured. The man was arrested immediately on the spot by the Japanese police.
A 34-year old Chinese engineer told police that he hates Lee and he was there to protest about Lee's affirmative stance on Taiwanese independency.

  • Lee Teng Hui is a shameless sellout. Son of a low level police collaborator, brother of an idiot who died for the Japanese army, participant in gay anime fancy dress - if you want to see the face of a dog that thinks its a goat, then he's your man!

  • @SHUTUPNOOB654 Most of the people in American, Australia, and Canada came from England. What's your point? Ethnicity and Nationality are totally different things. The KMT were invaders that were allowed to invade by the U.S. The SF treaty that Japan signed did not give Taiwan to china. In fact, legally, Taiwan is the possession of the U.S.

  • @SHUTUPNOOB654 Taiwan was signed over to Japan in a treaty, it was not invaded. The only time the Japanese killed Taiwanese or aboriginals is when there was a revolt. This contrasts with the KMT and their cronies that came over and immediately started killing and jailing Taiwanese for no reason at all. They forced the population to learn Mandarin and banned the use of Taiwanese and Japanese. To top it off, they stole too. We consider the KMT to be more of the invaders than the Japanese.

  • @ttiiyy There are people who move everywhere in the world. There are japanese in China, there are also many in the US. There are Koreans in China, japan, and US. There are Chinese in Korea and japan, it's inevitable. There will always be some people in different countries.

  • @Taipei2Tokyo So if aboriginals attacked japanese, why are they suppose to be japanese?. Can I have some sources of your statements? The japanese invaded and occupied Taiwan for 50 years. They also commited so horrible atrocities there, however they were far less there than they were in other parts of Asia. The people in Taiwan speak Mandarin, they use Chinese letterings, the current government controlling Taiwan CAME from China, and Most Taiwanese are from around Fujian and Guangdong province.

  • @SHUTUPNOOB654 Incorrect. Japanese were attacked by aboriginals in Taiwan long before 1895. The Japanese approached the Qing to collect compensation and the Qing stated that Taiwan was not the responsibility of china. This was hundreds of years before 1895.

  • @Taipei2Tokyo That's an extremely stupid statement. Japan annexed Taiwan from China in 1895, and kept it for 50 years. On the other hand, the Chinese had it for hundreds of years before, and have had contact with the peoples there for even longer. I can also say China is the motherland of japan since it gave it culture, technology, etc, along with the fact that Chinese people were some of the most powerful people in japan up to the 17th century.

  • @SHUTUPNOOB654 The KMT fled to Taiwan after the U.S. allowed them to. The U.S. controlled Taiwan after the war which is why there were US bases in Taiwan before they switched recognition to China. The Taiwanese were Japanese citizens from 1895 - 1945. The true motherland of Taiwan is Japan.

  • I am Taiwanese. I HATE chinese. I really like Japanese. End of Story.

  • I don't get this. If Chinese hate Japan so much, why do Chinese move to Japan? Also, applying the same logic, who do Chinese come to the US?
