@n3vino The singer is Bobby Mack Flores, the guy holding the maracas on the album cover. He indeed had a great voice. The Sunglows performed this song on American Bandstand..

You might want to get in touch with Manny Guerra the drummer of the Sunglows and now record producer. he's still in San Antonio and has his own recording studio. If thats not possible, his brother Rudy Guerra is a preacher in the town of Seguin and try that route. Rudy use to play with Sunny,Latin Breed for many years. Sorry ,no pho numbers, just look them up.

I am from San Anto and have followed music all my life. I know a bunch of older local musicians. I was always told this was Joe Bravo who took over the Sunglows when Sunny left. This doesn't sound like Joe but I'll tell you when this cat sings he Sings! If it is Bobby Mack I would like to know more about him. Where are you man? I use to dream awake with this tune. Let us know more about you.

I am not sure this is Bobby Mack. Some guys "in the know" told me it was Joe Bravo who took over Sunny's place after he left or was left by the Sunglows. This has not been verified however. Anybody out there know? I think the singing is wonderful and just full of teenage angst.

Bobby Mack had a great voice. Does anyone out there know whatever happened to him? Is he still around?
Love this song. Anybody know who the singer is?

The singer was a guy called Bobby Mack. The vocal group backing him up were the Royal Jesters.
