Last January I finally decided that enough was enough. I was 234 pounds (at 5'9), which was down over 30 pounds from my highest weight, but I still felt and looked terrible. I started p90x on February 1, 2010 and never looked back. I ended in May and continued to diet and workout throughout the next 15 months, doing various workouts from p90x, Insanity, Hip-Hop Abs, and even a two-week free trial of Crossfit (by far the hardest of the bunch). I've lost 102 pounds in total and feel great, but I'm still not content. I'd obviously like the loose skin on my stomach to firm up, but I'm not sure how likely that is to happen given how much I've lost. Still, I'm healthy, I look and feel much better, and I have a constant drive to better myself physically. I'm convinced that I will never be satisfied with the way I look, and I have no problem with that, as constantly striving to better myself will keep me away from topping the dreaded 200-pound mark ever again.
If anyone is watching this video and contemplating doing p90x (I watched tons of transformation videos before I decided that it was worth it), I highly recommend it. It's incredibly time consuming, which is why I only did one official round, but it's still well worth it. Just bring your A-game every day and know that if you put the work in, you will be thrilled with your results, just like I was.
Inspiring!

looking good fella. your guns are looking good too. I would recommend that when you pose for the camera you push your shoulders back and also lift your chest up. It will make you look even better. well done.

Sometimes, over the course of time, if you keep working on your abs, the skin will reattach itself to the muscles and tighten up. Sometimes, you need surgery to remove the excess. It really depends on the person.
