I actually find myself browsing so-called "non-sports" cards like those airplane cards you bought. I think in the long long run, those will end up being a stellar buy.

the aviation cards are British. Gallaher produced some really nice cards during the 30s on thick card stock. They produced quite a few movie related card sets, featuring Laurel and Hardy and other legends.
British cards are good value for the age Of course I would say that. The nearest thing we have to baseball cards are our soccer cards. Rare early ones fetch $200-$1800. Not as high as baseball cards. I personally think they could rise.
