  • Thanks for posting Lies with this line-up. Nude is one of their best albums. This set looks similar to the video of City Life. It is also apparent that Andy Ward was suffering from what Mr Latimer said was later discovered as bi-polar mania, and was untreated at the time.

  • really good band

    and really good song too!!

  • Oh, Camel is wonderful band! And this is wonderful song! I love this ;)

  • "¿Has peace arrived, or is this some kind of joke?"

It's a question that still remains.

  • @tamertamo You are so right on!!!

  • Great tune, Great Band !!

  • I gotta say this is reallly emotive!! Now I know the meaning of playing serously !!

  • @banfieldc Camel have been one of the finest bands ever. There was absolutely no 'mistake' with recording instrumentals - they were bloody brilliant at it. It is not coincidence that The Snow Goose is their most critically acclaimed album and is also one of the most popular ones. Doing what you are very good at is not the mistake. Not doing what you are very good at certainly is.

  • A much underated band that probably made the mistake of recording too many long repetitive instrumentals. However whenever they introduced vocals, like on Lies, they were one of the best bands around. Latimer and Bardens wrote some of the best melodies of that time and the combination of guitar, keyboard and vocals were truly memorable.

  • This, and 'City Life, are promotional videos made at Shepperton Studios where the band mimed to a playbacks of the original album tracks.

  • @LazyScott99 You'r right, I am sorry ProgRock brother. It just mean that they so have it, that I though it was live.
