@Twinkles5927 Yes..Oldgold soul is right Major was born in 1941 and passed away in 1994 of a heart attack if i'm not mistaking.Google search will probably give you more info

Major Lance was the BEST although he certainly needed to tip his hate to Curtis Mayfield for some of his good stuff. I graduated from Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe Springs, California back in 1965 and the stuff Major came out with in the 63-65 period was just the best.
