John was about 31 here.Up until he was about 50,he always looked younger than he was.

How often do you see so much unmitigated pleasure on anyones faces as is seen on these two ?
They obviously enjoy working together which makes it such a joy to listen to and watch.

This is so beautifully innocent and corny. John Denver lives forever, and so does Doris Day.

He really did look completely at ease and happy, especially when Doris did the second line of "Sunshine on my Shoulder"....it must have been wonderful for John to hear such a lovely voice as hers, singing his song...
The man was and is STILL my favorite artist, even after almost 40 years...
