@UltraPandamonium Cool close-mindedness bro. What year it is doesn't affect how good music can be; mainstream music today and from the 70's is just as bad as one another. You just need to know where to look to find the right music.

The Gaslight Anthem are my America. American Slang just so fucking reminds me of my time in New York City, its almost unbelievable! The 59 Sound reminds me of The Beat Generation and Sink or Swim is just an awesome punk record! Gosh I love this band!

after seeing them at the Stone Pony last Summer, they confirmed (easily) that they are one of the best up and coming jersey bands and I LOVE their homage to the Boss. If their next album is half as good as their first 3 then we are all in for a treat!

Why do I like this band? I loathe everything else of this piss-poor excuse of a genre, but this band somehow appeals to me.. Usually I wouldn't listen to anything past 1968.

this band is unique... sifting through the proverbial mass of shit I've heard... this band stands out above the rest, they'll go down as the more UNIQUE sound of this generation, the same way, the goo goo dolls, incubus, nirvana and bands which played the background music we all headbanged and danced embarrassingly to, like good charlotte, blink 182, the offspring, and sum 41 and the like went down as the sound of our previous one...
