Two steps to making homemade apple cider-- grind up the whole apples, then squeeze the juice out of the pulp. Our own home grown apples, good friends letting us use their apple mill and cider press. This cider came out remarkably sweet from four different varieties of apples, no sugar. We got 8 quarts of cider from about a bushel of apples, and froze it in milk jugs.
