is he as mmuch of a sweetheart as he looks to be?
-
This is the sweetest , most gentle race horse i have ever had the pleasure of meeting in 50 years of my life, I love him, I have never seen him race, only in reruns, but he is magnificent in form to look at him. He should be retired in mho he is getting on in years and not really into it and from what I hear has bleeding issues?.... Find this baby boy someone to love and adore him, a nice pasture, and turn him out under the northern stars...I volenteer to take him :) Blast Man gives good Kisses

is that a brand on his right shoulder?
-
This guy is built like a stayer, but he has huge shoulders that give him his power. His wins in the Newmarket Handicap, Lightning stakes as well as the Kings Stand show just what a brilliant burst of speed he has.
I wish you all the best with him, he'll do you proud as well as most of Australia

Hi john would have liked to hear your first impressions of the horse and how u feel he will go in the USA.
-
wow he's stunning!!

Hi John the BIG FELLA looks great. I think we are going to have a lot of fun with this horse. Wish u all the best for 2010.
Scenic Blast is a 5 yo gelding and 2009 Australian HOTY. Looks as though the trip over from Hong Kong hasn't rattled him too much. Very classy sprinter you've got there John, a multiple G1 winner in Australia as well as in England. All the best to you and your team getting him conditioned for US racing. Goodness knows this horse loves to race!

Was "Clydey"" his nick-name in Australia? It suits him perfectly. What a handsome boy! Rest assured, one could not hope for a better, more caring home for him than he will receive in Mr. Shirreff''s barn.
