@umesh2063 no idea about GE T but early diastolic murmur indicates a regurgitation prob...could be aortic regurgitation or something. there r diff grades of murmurs. Grade 2 means its easily audible on steth but not palpable with hands...means its not that severe

FYI: In Mitral stenosis murmur occurs during "diastole of LV". When LV is in diastolic phase blood passes with difficulty through the stenosed "mitral valve" from LA into LV. Since the pressure in LA rises only to about 30mmHg, a large pressure differential forcing blood from LA --> LV does NOT develop. The murmur sounds "week" in Mitral stenosis.
Mitral Stenosis can lead to "Left Side Heart failure" which then leads to "Pulmonary edema" since blood is back up in LA.

This is mitral stenosis, the key to the valves is upper right.

These are things you want to discuss with your doctor. GE could mean gastroenteritis, I do not know what T-99.9 is, Faint early diastolic murmur at apex means they heard a murmer at the base of your heart which could mean slight aortic insufficiency or mitral stenosis (less likely) or they might have heard an S3 which can be mistaken for an early diastolic murmer. Grade 2 means how loud on a scale of 1 to 6, 1 being very faint, 6 being loud. Some murmers can be normal, other not. Ask ur doc!
