Animal Rights Conference 2007 - Debra Erenberg

Debra Erenberg is Organizing Director for Rainforest Action Network, where she oversees the development of local activist groups, online community-building, and outreach to young people. In her "free time," she serves as Deputy Director of The Essence of True Humanity Is Compassion (The ETHIC) and the ETHIC's Darfur Pledge campaign to end the genocide in western Sudan. Prior to joining RAN, Debra served as Director of Affiliate Resources for NARAL Pro-Choice America. In more than eighteen years of grassroots organizing, election campaigns and nonprofit management, she has also worked with Center for Science in the Public Interest, PETA, the Great Ape Project, and many others. hahaha animals have rights but not unborn babies.

Why don't we ever hear of any animal rights activists who also stand up for the rights of babies? It seems extremely contradictory to "save the whales becuase they don't have a voice", but to just stand by and be okay with the "choice" of a mother who chooses to stop the life of their child. It makes me so sick.
