Equinox - Unfinished TAS - Part 1 Of 2

This is part 1 of an unfinished Tool Assisted Speedrun for the game Equinox (Solstice II). This plays through the first two dungeons of the game, Galadonia and Tori.
Also, this is not my work; this was made my someone over at Tasvideos.org.

This game was great, remember getting it on the SNES back in the day. The music was etheral and moody and a lot of the puzzles were pretty fiendish, (although not as bad as Solstices).

Yes, I agree, Equinox was such an excellent game for its time (and it still is!)

You are right, the music really is something special as its not like anything else on the SNES.

To this day, I still have yet to complete Solstice. The puzzles are just so tough.

the TAS of Solstice 1 is freaking awsome. this isn't quite as awsome. but its still great.

You're right, the TAS of Solstice on the NES is pretty amazing.

It seems to be a popular game to TAS as there have been a lot of different versions, each one improving over the previous one by a few seconds and frames.

It's a shame that this one wasn't completed. Maybe some day.....

Awesome game. Amazing soundtrack. I still have this on my classic SNES.

Be aware too that Deeso is the first dungeon in the game in which you must find hidden walls leading to rooms containing items. In my video (The Twelve Tokens Of Deeso), at 1:11, that is one of the mandatory hidden rooms that you must find. Notice how I come in from the wall.

You may want to head on over to GameFAQs and read the guide on where to go. Also, it may be very helpful for you to watch my video "The Twelve Tokens Of Deeso" for help on how to acquire each token once you've found it.

I'm at the third dungeon, I have the damage spell and shuriken, about 3 white keys (I think I used 2) and I just can't find any more orbs.... I might be missing an entrance, but I just can't find it....

No, not to my knowledge. Maybe someday Ill make a video walkthrough for this game. It is in dire need of one.

In the meantime, where are you stuck? Perhaps I can be of help.

Is there a full longplay or quickrun of this game? I can't find one and I keep getting lost... :(
