  • doesn't look more intuitive than using a mouse...

  • It is a little easier. What is under your fingers stays under your fingers. As you move your fingers apart, the model gets bigger. As you move them around, the model orbits.

  • i was expecting something that will put me virtually inside the design space.

    for example, to build a steel structure, i wouldn't draw line segments first, but take steel beams and cut them to length with virtual saw, then weld them together virtually.

    to assemble/disassemble an engine i would pick up bolt and nuts, screw/unscrew them on the engine components...something like that.
