The Crosman Nitro Venom in .22 cal has a lot of potential to be a great rifle. The Nitro Piston power plant provides smooth cocking and shooting, as well as reduced noise and recoil, just as promised. The Venom posted some of the most consistent velocities that we've seen here on AGW. Unfortunately not everything went so well with the review. Watch the video to see our full results.
Rick you should get some 10 meter target rifles on here, do the boys at pyramid air ever let those our to test? I know they sell at least 10 or so on their site. If nothing else I would love to see what that 300 plus daisy can do, they claim it is pretty accurate?

I'll be getting to those come Summer when it is too hot to go outside and shoot here in Arizona. I definitely want to get some trigger time with those 10m guns.

Why would you need over 3x magnification at such a short distance? Some guys are shooting
a gong the size of a dinner plate at 400 yards with open sights using a real gun.

yep.. they are much better shots then me. I'm looking to find out how good the GUN is.. not necessarily how good I am. I want every advantage to take "me" out of the equation. Spring guns are tough because you can't "vice" them for testing. You have to hold them. The other issue with the scope is that the parallax is set way beyond the manufacture's suggested range. So I'm testing the gun "out of the box" to get the average user insight on what they may experience.
cheers
