Take a DPV (diver propulsion vehicle) tour of Mermet Springs quarry in Metropolis, IL. Many members of our team are using closed-circuit rebreathers including the Ouroboros, Sentinel and KISS. Underwater highlights include the 727 jet from the movie "US Marshals" and feeding paddlefish, aka spoonbills, all captured with Ikelite-housed, Flip Ultra HD video cameras.

  • Thanks, Ronin! I personally prefer and recommend the Ouroboros. My opinion on rebreathers in to get the best up front so you never would need to replace it in the future. Dive Xtras DPV's are my also my choice for propulsion vehicles. I like the modular capability of the Sierra. You're lucky to live where you do; the diving is awesome!

  • Great video, fun to watch, just can imagine how was to dive around.
