Surely the whole point of a reconstruction would be that it IS a media event, so that anyone seeing the footage from it might have their memory jogged! Yet Gerry who released the sensitive information about Madeleine's eye, against police advice, is suddenly against publicity!

Kate and Gerry are arguing AGAINST a reconstruction which could potentially bring new information, by jogging people's memories- 'FOOTAGE WHICH WOULD GO AROUND THE WORLD' as Dermot shrewdly points out- how suspicious is that? Also Gerry's emphasis on their friend's taking part in police interviews VOLUNTARILY- why should the father of a missing child be grateful to his friends for giving information which might aid police?- wouldn't an innocent parent expect this of their friends?

the decision to leave your kids is not based purely on the thought that There will be no risk from abductors..its based on the risks of them choking or harming themselves in some way ,or being caught in a fire ...he said he felt safe to leave them because there was no risks...it illustrates how stupid this couple are

oh come off it !! 2 doctors do they realise that children wake up that children can coke that children can get hurt ,,, children of that age are not to be left alone.... if the mother wasa single parent who might have had to leave the children alone because she had no choice ,,, she would be arrested for neglect and here are these two idiots preaching that children do wake up .. of coure they do but the parents whoudl be there.... e big prce to pay for a night out with the friends....

@LordArsehat There is a video on here somewhere that puts the distance at 139 yards. Add to that that you'd have to be able to see through concrete, and look round corners.

Oh yes, and we all know how good the police investigation was.....DON'T we??? So good that they have widely been labelled incompetent fools by other police forces.

I'm sure during the police investigation they USED A TAPE MEASURE, something that perhaps Gerry forgot to take with him on holidays. Arse-hat, you are indeed a fool, as your name suggests.
