Make sure "Virtual Surround" is checked in the Enhancements tab of the device's Properties window. (Go to Devices & Printers, R-click the USB device, click sound settings, and it might be listed as a 2nd set of speakers.) It might not be with a 64-bit OS. Otherwise it just sounds like decent stereo.

On the adapter you'll find the red, yellow and whit cables :P

It is Windows 7 compatible? The on-board soundcard doesnt work, just the normal stereo sound.

It has a good bass and it should work on ps3
