    Shep Smith has never been the same. I think he realized that his own news network was more concerned with trying to paint a rosy picture to save Bush' ass from a PR nightmare than reporting the horrible truth occurring before their very eyes in New Orleans that terrible week. And Smith, a Mississippi native, couldn't take it any more.

    Yeah, my town was hit with an ice storm back when George bush was president, and it was also hit by a second ice storm 2 yrs back. Telephone poles were destroyed both times. President bush didn't do anything, we were without power for 30 days. The 2nd ice storm was even worse, obama actually stepped in, signed some orders, even had fema coming in, power was back on in about 7 days. Telephone poles destroyed and yet hundreds trucks came in replacing them fast under obama.

    I remember I had 2 VHS tapes 6 hrs each full of news watching hurricane katrina, sadly don't have them anymore. It was something watching this on the news, never saw anything like it.
