Practicing Finger Drumming

Korg pad kontrol hooked into rme fireface 800 controlling cakewalk sonar and their own session drummer plug-in running at 48 samples buffer. Very low latency, before the i7 chip and windows 7 i could never get below 128 samples buffer, maybe 64samples if it was a very basic plug in. Now it performs flawlessly at 48 no matter what i throw at it, and cakewalk lets you use all of your ram because it's64 bit. I havent checked in a while so i don't know what other programs became 64 bit, but i know cakewalk runs amazingly on windows 7 64, and should not be overlooked. Before this combo i had planned to get apogee/logic/mac but not anymore, i couldn't be any happier, it's perfect.
