I really meant it that I don't mean to be unkind, but it's important that you understand that the truth of God's Word and His power to work in our lives has nothing to do with the sentimentality of this song. Knowing basic facts about history written in the Bible is meaningless -- NO value at all in receiving from God. Faith comes from HEARING God's Word, not hearing ABOUT God's Word.
