  • The Bolshevik in the White House

    Faux "Conservative" Ronald Reagan

  • Should say in the description what year it is.

  • And what's happening, Rasmussen has polling data out there, the independents, these precious independents, a sizable majority support the Republican Governor Scott Walker in Wisconsin.

This morning on the Fox Business Network, Varney & Co. show, Stuart Varney spoke with Scott Rasmussen about the protests in Wisconsin. Varney said, "What about the independent voter?

  • this thing in Wisconsin is getting interesting, and it's seminal. This is a seminal moment for the union movement, the labor union movement. If , by chance, the whole concept of public sector unions are blown up, that is effectively the end of unions. In the private sector they make up 8% of the population, 8% of the workforce is private sector unionized. It's about, what, 13% total if you add government employees

  • @MrFabregas1987 The point being, there is only SO MUCH that each or ANY of us can do. We can't over take their countries and force their governments to do "the right thing". We can't just drop money into their hands and change all their lives around. There just isn't enough liquid money.

I don't have all the answers, to all the worlds problems. But I do know that just throwing money at things won't fix it ALL.

But I do know, that I can help 1-2-3 whatever people at least a little bit.

  • @MrFabregas1987 It costs me 2 months of their income, just to go to work.

If we took the combined worth of the Forbes top 400, and liquidated it. Wiped out all their companies and holdings, and could forcibly give that money to the poor, it would add up to just over $1.6 Trillion (About this years US deficit) But, 2.8 billion people would get $571 more. Or, about $1.50 a day for 1 year. But the following year there would be nothing more, as their businesses would be gone.

  • @MrFabregas1987 As far as 2.8 billion people living on 2 dollars per day. I've been to the Dominican Republic, to help build homes w/ Habitat For Humanity. I've seen it w/ my own eyes. BUT, there is only so much I can do.The same for everyone else. The reality is, that it costs so much more to live in the US. I live in a middle class community, with an average home. My property taxes are more than what some of these people will make in 5 years.

  • @MrFabregas1987 Not exactly sure the point you're trying to make but I'll try.

When it comes to government aid, I DON'T KNOW where it goes. Just like with ANY OTHER country, I have no idea where it goes. The best any of us can hope for, is that our governments make sure it gets to where it needs to go.

BUT, I can research where I give, to try and make sure my charitable giving makes it to where I want it to go. Part of that is being personally involved with the organization/s.

  • @mountnman3609

Still 2,8 billions of people in the world can only try to survive by under 2 dollars per day.

Where goes that money? Into the pockets of corrupt politicians in those poor countries or actually into pockets of the poor people?
