So I guess that I am saying Directv is just as lowdown and greedy as any other corporation. We as consumers have let these companies manage our way of life. Its only gonna get worse unless we start standing up to do something about it.

If you call directv and ask for their legal or finance department they say that they do not have access to a phone number. All they will give you is an address. A p.o. box in california. if you look that up it comes up to some lawfirm of a sort and no phone numbers. Just addresses where you can type in maybe 5 sentences of your problem and maybe you will get a response.

I asked them why so much money and they added up all the receivers and all kinds of fees. I questioned the fees and they said they were for taxes and reassessment fees. They also refuse to come get the dish off of my house because they dont want to leave holes in my roof. But they did not mind drilling them to begin with after I asked them to put my dish on a pole in the yard. Is it even lawful for them to debit an account. Just because it says it on paper? Their lawyers wrote the paper.

I had directv for 9 years until i lost my job and could not pay. I paid what I could and asked them for some kind of payment plan. They just said they would call me back and then the next day, they debited 1350 dollars from me. I disputed it and they took back a previous credit that was given to me because i disputed it and then turned around and debited me again. When i asked why they took it back, they said there was confusion between customer service and the financial department. Greed!!

Both services are pretty close to the same. Switch at the end of every 2 year contract and you'll get a better deal, simple as that

I used to have Dish and switched to Directv and it fucking sucks. No lie, nothing sucks more than DirectTV.
