Pregnant, full-time mother of then 4 and in the middle of a world tour - I think she did a great job. BTW you had to be at one of her gigs in the summer of 2007 to appreciate her music. Also I think it's been quite evident that Lauryn Hill's music changed since Unplugged, so her performance wasn't a big shock for me or other true fans.

you have to be an artist at heart to understand this performance....she mixed a true reggae song into her hip hop roots with a live band and dj.....and she lead them all....this was one hell of a performance i'd like to see some of these so called artist try this today.

Lauryn is amazing! Realize that she is not nor has she ever been crazy. She's no longer conforming to society's nor the industry expectations of an artist. She's rebelling. Her dress style is a way of mocking against the industry, while embracing her roots. Notice how she mixes the 70's & 80's medallions, hair and clothes with the 90's head gear. Genius! She is not going to sing her old songs the same way or sell sex, by dressing provocatively. She is no longer a slave to the industry.
