  • This guy is awful

  • he looks nervous.

  • I think the best part was at 1:17

  • An epic fail at a "Beginner'' video

  • @bassmajor No doubt, bass is supposed to be the melodic and harmonic backbone of the band. A bass player has to think roots and harmonics, not free jazz improvisation, except in extreme cases.

  • @dharmaseed

I don't think he considered working with a drummer at all :D

    These vids are so dreadful.

"You can play any note within the scale when that chord is being played"... as someone preparing for studying jazz this sentence hurts my ears.

  • Dude, your bassline simply doubles the guitar in many places. The bassline has to lock in with what the drummer is doing, otherwise the groove totoally drops out of the song. I see no mention in any of your videos about working with the drummer.

  • @mso872 Yeah i know, Im just saying he could have explained stuff more... that was all...

  • @MisterModder123 Obviously you don't know many musicians, because most musicians who aren't classically trained with a whip know the technique in their head but might be a little slow in referencing if it has been years since music lessons like me. Happens to me all the time if I'm trying to teach someone or if I'm nervous. You're just like everyone else on youtube who trys to downgrade others to make themselves feel better, this is a good video for beginners
