  • John's talents far excede the boundaries of the extraordinary X! He's a sensitive interpreter of songs and a great musician singer song writer on his own!

  • I completely agree...

  • John and Billy will be forever trapped and linked to the Punk scene. John seems country or folk. Billy is all about rockabilly. They don`t hate X but it is not their passion. So, I do have mixed feelings about them. X will always be their money maker but, I want them to be happy. Doe`s projects are great but do nothing for my music preferance. I wish everyone well but X rules!

  • interesting comment...I love X as well but John Doe is awesome on his own too....Billy Zoom's guitar playing is amazing...I don't know his rockabilly stuff too well...X is coming to new yoik in may and maybe I can get a video up that you will really like...

  • I just caught their last 2 shows in Chicago and Indy. First I`ve been able to see them since the early 80`s in LA. You are in for a treat. They play a full set w/ oncore. 2+ hours. They sound better than ever and look great. Real pros! Don`t miss it!

  • We already got tickets...I saw them two years ago and they were great...I hope I get some great material for a video...check out my pressing on...it's joihin from joe's pub...

  • One of the greatest pop songs ever written--sung by the sexiest male voice on the planet. What could be better?

  • Hands down the best cover version I've ever heard of this one.

  • Holy Shit,Fuck yea

  • interesting! well done!

  • To Jengordon78 -

never too pleased myself when JM´s songs are covered. Well, let´s forget about the yodeling bit ;-) and this is a brilliant rendition.

Would you believe I´d never heard about John Doe before? (What with middle-aged Northern Europeans - that can simply be the case).
