Video of Martin Diamond recording the drum track to Outback (by one of my favorite drummers, Simon Phillips.) The backing track is music minus drums, with a click in the background. I'll update this to do it on my real drums, but for now here's the V-Drums version.

Actually they can be choked by squeezing the rim.

My mind is set on mesh heads, so ill go with those even if they are more expansive... Thanks for the answer!

P.S. Good playing, but V-drum brains don't sound real enough. Get plug ins.

Oh not midi sounds, but as in contact. Mesh heads are Def. a little more quiet than rubber pads, but very expensive and when you play w/ Midi & headphones you don't even notice the rubber pads much. At least I don't. If rubber pads are too loud for neighbors then that's some thin walls though.

I dont understand what you are trying to say, but im just asking if they make any noise compared to cheaper version with only rubber pads. (i live in a flat)

Question to all V-Drum users. Is there any sounds from the snare and toms acoustic wise, since they are actually not pads and have depth? Thanks for answering.

where'd you get the drumless track? solid playing, and swell choice on the drum sounds.
