Saharareporters met Lagos State governor, Babatunde Fashola, at a seminar at the London School Economics where he made a presentation on developments in Lagos state. During a question and answer session we asked the governor a number of questions regarding allegations of corruption against his government, ownership of the companies involved in collecting taxes and internally generated revenues in the state as well as his attitude towards infrastructure development in areas in the state considered poor neighborhood!

Irrespective of a query's validity (SR lies a lot) or the asker's demeanour, a public officer must at least respond to a citizen's concerns. In my opinion, he did so satisfactorily and in a very dignified manner..kinda made u look stupid. Probably explains why u went after him at the end. To further the self-inflicted damage, ur attempt to spin on the site was abysmally poor:'An obviously miffed Governor Fashola reacted angrily to a question SR put to him'. The only miffed party that day was SR.

Investigative Journalism is done with Facts and Evidence,Sahara Reporters practices Jungle journalism,Mr Showore does not posses the communication and interpersonal skills to be a good reporter,Investigative Journalism is not done with hear say evidence and word on the street,He should have started as an apprentice with News of The WORLD so as to learn how it is done. If care is not taken he will end up settling large court fines for image deformation,libel which I am sure he cannot afford.

Sahara reporters, I thought they were sensible, but now I know they are dumb. Everyone knows Fashola has tried beyond all other governors and even presidents. Why ask insultive questions like that? It is more understandable if you asked ibb such questions, but of course you guys won't have enough liver for that. I have lost my respect for your Newspaper, and will never read your reports again
