This video is a quick demo of the range of the Profex.
Parts 2 and 3 have more patches, played in groups.
There are not many demos of the Peavey Profex II so I thought I would upload one.
n this video I run through some of the factory presets. This video features a few distortion patches, clean patches and special efx patches.
HISTORY:
The Profex were rack mounted multi effecs units and went on sale about 1990. They retailed around the $600 (USD) mark I think.
Even today, after 20 years, they still sound good. The late great Shawn Lane was a user right up until he died.
You can hear and see him using one on the "PARIS" dvd, available online from bardo records and abstractlogic website:

Please excuse any poor playing.
GEAR USED:
Vigier Shawn Lane signature clone.

Hey, nice playing, what is your opinion about Shawn's vigier?:)

@DainiusGudonis Hi! The guitar is very nice: mine is a Vigier neck attached to a custom body. It is very good for shred and fusion playing. It needs 10 gauge strings to feel right to me. Otherwise they are too loose. Vigiers are very high quality instruments. I do not think it is suited to general rock for some reason. It does single note and instrumental stuff the best.
