Is a Filter an option on a tank this size?

I want to get one this size but not sure if i should buy a filter.

@Titan2030ify sorry for the late reply tiffany, but yea anything over a gallon i would use a filter of some sort.

also remember to get your betta a heater that has an adjustable heat setting so you can set it to 78. i had some problems where my heater wasn't heating the tank to 78.

@animalcrazyfreak right now its a mini t5, with the blue spectrum, it gives a really nice look, but the tank gets algae buildup faster because it thrives off that spectrum. i want to switch to a more red spectrum.

@Titan2030ify Yes, you can and should use a filter in this size tank. Google "nano aquarium filter."

great set up only thing id chang is id add a background, maby plants or riverbed full of rocks and drift wood, somthing to match the look you got going, I dont like the clear back on fishtanks or the sold black or blue, but thats just me do what you like, looks good nomater what and your bettas not in a stupid cup, so your the shit in my book
