@spectre0075 reason fitz didnt av a good yr is bcoz they dont av a fucken quarterback down in arizona,its not clements thats shut fitz down or something,its the qb problem thats causing larry fitzgerald to av a off yr,numbers by numbers nate clements is a waste of money,the feller never truly shut down any top wr,heck,he was even struggling against buccaneers receivers this yr,hes a good tackler n all,but hes a shitty cover guy,niners no need tackling cb right now,they need a cover cb.

@Zhero06 actually,larry fitzgerald average 5 to 8 catch a game against niners since clements arrives,he also av a average of 80 to 120 yrds against the niners since clements arrive,that aint bad numbers buddy,those are good numbers against a corner that was supposed to completely shut you down,oh avn't you notice that the niners pass rush was there key to victory against arizona last yr,its not clements that was key,it was the d-line,clements was horrible against t.o n other top receivers.

@fmoa yea your right. cuz he didnt completely LOCKDOWN/shutdown boldin and fitzgerald. your in for a hell of a time this year with clements AND taylor mays in our secondary.

only positive thing about clements is tackling n force fumble thingy he does,the dude cannot cover in 1-on-1 matchup situation,T.O school clements in the 08 season when niners n cowboys played,heck,most top receivers make clements look shit,niners dont need a tackling corner,they need a cover corner like asante samuel,pacman may not be on same level wit asante ,but the dude can cover good in 1-on-1 matchups than clements,if you watch him in his tennessee days,pacman is good in 1on1 situations.

Look Clements is no shutdown corner....atleast NOT anymore I will be the first to admit that, but as Pacman is a good cover corner so is Nate. Nate plays really really aggressive like an Al Harris or Charles Woodson. These guys as a result of being aggressive and due to the nature of the cornerback position will give up big plays here and there but they are solid and very good cover men.

actually pacman is a good cover corner,much better than nate clements or any niners corner in man to man coverage,pacman sucks in dallas coz he didnt like to rotate in n out of some plays,he wants to be a full time starter,so he play half ass n didnt care much about the cowboys mid-season,niners should pursue pacman,coz during the 09 season,there were games that niners secondary were shit,when nate was playing,he didnt do well either,also,nate stats against top receivers in not good..not good.
