A look at the topic of whether or not students should be allowed to carry guns on the college campus. The article below takes the stance that they should not be allowed on the college campus.
@steelcityroller And if you look at statistics of alcohol vs age/year, 85% or more alcohol related issues occur with Freshman and Sophmores (ages 18-20) and almost completely drops off when students turn 21. Well guess what...you have to be 21 to legally carry a handgun anyways. So in my opinion, I doubt you would ever see any correlation between campus shootings and alcohol.
@steelcityroller Poeple who are going to shoot up a school are going to do it regarless of alcohol level or regardless of where the are or aren't allowed to carry. It's not like someone is going to plan to shoot up a school (consequence: going to prison for life if they don't commite suicide first) and then say "damn it...I can't carry a gun on campus or I'll get in trouble!" NO CARRY laws don't prevent shootings, they prevent shootings from being stopped!
Should guns be allowed at the school on college campus. Yes. You're more likely to kill someone in a drunk driving accident than with a gun and cars are allowed. A no guns zone didn't help anybody at Columbine or Virginia Tech.
That's a common argument. The problem is, there are strict laws about carrying a concealed weapon when drinking. You are allowed to drive a car with a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of .08, while you are only allowed a BAC of .02 while carrying a concealed weapon. That wouldn't change because of your location, plus, if you are talking about going to bars and parties off of campus, what does that have to do with weapons ON college campuses?

@ShootersVideos In TN you can not have any blood alcohol while carrying. Period. If you're drinking AT ALL you are not carrying.
