Prepare to walk around Shanghai until you are ready to drop. There is no end to interesting sights and you never know what you are going to see. Walk down the historic Bund. Walk down any street or alley that grabs your attention to gawk at the remaining Hutongs, rapidly disappearing.

Come to a dead halt when three little dogs trotted down the street pulling a cat inside it's own compartment. Watch the Chinese tour groups wearing identical red, yellow or blue baseball hats to identify themselves. Children rollerblading. China is definitely one, if not THE, most fascinating city in the world.

  • @gangsterfromdaghetto The Chinese people are universally warm and friendly to foreigners. Get used to having your photos taken with the Chinese. The majority have never seen a foreigner in person. Only on TV or in movies and just have to record the moment! ex-Marine (husband, Steve) and I must be in thousands of photos all over China. Such fun!

  • @travelswithsheila

Okay. Sorry, just one last question...I think.

How are the people in Shanghai towards foreigners?

  • @gangsterfromdaghetto I haven't the faintest idea since I wouldn't know the first thing about getting around the firewall!

  • @travelswithsheila

What happens if you do find a way around the firewall? What's the punishment if you get caught?

  • @gangsterfromdaghetto NO!!! Neither is allowed! Get used to doing without both. We were in Yushu when the earthquake occurred and had no way to twitter the news. Thanks for watching and commenting. Any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. Travels With Sheila

  • @travelswithsheila

Just one question please, do you know if Youtube or Facebook is allowed in Shanghai?

  • @gangsterfromdaghetto Thanks for watching and your very nice comments. Best regards, Travels With Sheila
