A mentally ill man chucked a metal souvenir replica of the Doumo di Milano, Milan's central cathedral, at the face of 73-year-old Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi. The attack broke his nose and two teeth, leaving the PM bleeding profusely from his left upper lip and cheek.

The three-term PM currently faces trial on tax fraud charges after Italy's top court struck down an immunity law that shielded him from prosecution. If there's one thing that crazy people hate, it's public officials who cheat on their taxes. You've been warned.

  • staged event

  • Staged event that broke his nose and two teeth?

  • Church replicas are far more aerodynamic than Iraqi shoes.

  • Pity... It would've been even more epic if the shoe hit :/

  • At least the Italians actually prosecute their officials when they break the law. We let ours shoot people in face and not serve even a single day of jail time.

  • "mentally ill man" HAHA, according to whom? Mussolini himself? :D

  • @iplanttrees8875

lol. Everything that's ever happened is pretty much a little fishy, isn't it?

  • xD bang

  • AWESOME

  • How did he get that black cloth to his face so fast? A little fishy methinks.

  • He got bitch slapped huh...lol

  • I am not sure if it is true that italians prosecute, because how else could Berlusconi have become so rich AND first man of the state WITHOUT corruption?

If there would ever be a serious proof that he bartered with the Mafia then you would have proof that he is involved in high profile crime - the whole fight of Italy against the Mafia would be meaningless if they have sent their "top man" to govern the country, and the deaths of people like Borsellino or Falcone would be even sadder ...

  • I live in Australia so I'm lucky, no guns (apart from farms) :)
