  • man thats a cool footage! great camera views! how did you mount it, any tips you could share? :-) Would really appreciate!

  • It's a viosport camera attached to a camcorder in a waterproof box. I think there are newer generation cameras that are easier to use. I use duct tape and zip ties to attach the camera, and I put the waterproof box in a fanny pack.

  • how fast do you think your top speed was

  • I would guess that my top end was in the upper twenties (mph) in the section of video viewed from overhead. My top speed measured with GPS (not in Aruba) is 34 mph, but the wind was not as strong in Aruba when I filmed this.

  • Cool Im gonna try something similar with a pencil cam & 2.4ghz sender to recorder - which camera did you use?

  • Glad you liked it. I used a viosport camera together with a Sony camcorder. The camcorder and battery are in a customized waterproof Otter Box, which I carry in a fanny pack. You can see the fanny pack mounted on the boom in some of the shots. Good luck!
