I think I watched this entire lineup.

@UrkManRocks Allthough the bumpers for this era I tag "What A Party 2.0." The 1984-85 season used the Superstar Bumpers while using a Amusment Park theme for the promos (Saturday's The Place).

isn't it better to watch these cartoons - y'know - any time you want? Without commercials? Like today?

Saturday ROCKS on CBS! 1988-89 Season
Starting with The Adventures of Raggedy Ann & Andy, Superman, an hour of Muppet Babies, Pee-Wee's Playhouse, Garfield and Friends, Hey Vern, It's Ernest!, Flip(Teen Wolf replaces the show 4 weeks later), The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse & ending with the CBS Storybreak.

@PastorKaler me too, the 80s are extremely epicness
@mooky9669: i agree with you as well bro, the saturday mornings that we once knew are gone but it'll never be forgotten, the saturday mornings of today sucks like a pile of dogcrap haha

1988 was CBS' best year yet for Saturday Morning, with the strong lineup with returning favorites Muppet Babies and Pee Wee's Playhouse, the premiere of Garfield & Friends, the short lived but amazing Hey Vern It's Ernest, and much more. CBS did ROCK in '88.

@robbchr I am gonna step up and say I did. I loved Hey Vern It's Ernest, and the complete series is now available on DVD from Mill Creek Entertainment.

Totally agree Mooky. Today, all the cartoons are spin offs of recent movies, or kids card games. Cartoons today are an arm of the merchandise marketing machine, original ideas are too risky. I miss the 80's.
