One of the festivals in Galway City (Ireland) is called The Stirling and Galway Sessions. This festival is held in two cities at the same time: Galway in Ireland and Stirling in Scotland and it lasts one week in the month of June.

During the festival Scottish musicians from this town come to Galway to play. In one of the sessions they were playing the Scottish Border Pipes, and I recorded this tune.

Two parts. Each done twice. In D Mixolydian. I play that in two octaves.

  • @NiutamUkGeDoru Thanks for your comment, really, I like to discuss about music. Why do you think the way I play is not how the tune should go? I suppose you are not talking about the mistakes I do, you must be talking about the melody, or maybe the ornamentation. Would you mind to explain yourself a bit more?

  • That's NOT how it goes...
