@acookie2060 I think numark & stanton make solid affordable decks. Just make sure they are "direct drive."

@deejayshiftee why should they be direct drive? belt driven isnt that much worse, is it? im a beginner and my local friend/DJ is selling me belt drivens, is that bad?

@ccbam Don't buy belt drive turntables! Every time you touch them a belt comes off and on, which makes playback, scratching, and tricks waaaaaaay harder. DIRECT DRIVE!

Hey Shiftee Maybe you can help me answer a ? whats the difference between using Vinyl or a laptop but still have turntables in play? My answer was storage in music but others tell me its not the same that having a laptop just makes you a push button DJ and you can't do the same as Vinyl What is your opinion on this?

hey shiftee ive been watching your videos pretty much non stop for the past couple of days, your bloody awesome

especially the one the traktor control s4 one

and ive been thinking about spending the money ill earn in my summer holidays on the traktor kontrol s4

so i was wondering is it easy to scratch on that thing

i know the jog wheels are smaller but does it make that much of a difference

or should i think about looking at buying actual decks and a mixer instead of a controller? thanks (:

@GNRule123 well you use a special vinyl called timecode vinyl or control vinyl watever you call it and its basically a like bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeep sound and then with the softwares soundcard it transfer the bleeb into a pc usb singnal and bla bla bla you play mp3s hope this helped
