Located in Louisville, Kentucky, Family & Children's Place is the area's leading child abuse prevention & treatment agency. The staff at Family & Children's Place works hard each day to strengthen our community through quality service that promotes safe, healthy and stable children and families.

We believe that preventing child abuse is every adults responsibility.

Family & Children's Place offers a variety of services to families and children in Louisville and Southern Indiana, like our Child Advocacy Center. The Child Advocacy Center is the first stop for any child who has been sexually abused. Here, children undergo forensic interviews, receive mental health care and medical care, all in a child-friendly atmosphere. The CAC helps ensure that children only need to tell their story once, thus preventing the retraumatization that comes with having to repeat their story.
