This large emerald weighs a whole 3.40 carats, it is a colombian emerald and boasts of good color, clarity and lustre. Good quality emeralds of this size are becoming rarer by the day. That the best emeralds are mined in Colombia is no secret, gemstone experts have known this for many decades. As prices of emeralds moved upwards an increasingly large number of miners joined the hunt for Colombian emeralds. The trade route of emeralds out of Colombia is not exactly safe as military personnel, gangsters and even petty thieves anxiously wait to rampage emerald buyers and sellers. This emerald is owned by Kaisilver, the world's leading online provider of high end custom jewelry. See more emeralds here http://www.kaisilver.com/eml01_h.htm

  • @Agremen How much emerald do you have? I sell the stuff and have plenty for sale. Looks just like that but from Zambia where the best emeralds come from because of the shallow mining depth. All Colombian emeralds are treated with oil. May's birth stone. I can put anyone in contact with rough emerald dealers in Africa if interested. You can stop laughing and get up off the floor Agremen. Like I said before the cut sucks and $500 would be the max it is worth! I'm a gem dealer.

  • @kertbert1 rofl you know nothing!

  • i think its like Sacriligous to cut and shape an Emerald or say a chunk of ruby i love the raw big chunks and pieces of them the way nature shaped them :)

  • Me and Dr.Cortex need all the Emeralds! AHAHAHA!

  • @kertbert1 I agree they should hav cut it more descently

  • The cut sucks and the color is very light. Other than that it is nice looking. I'd say it's worth $500.
