Some of the comments here are completely asinine, rude, and ignorant. This video is amazing, I fully support it, not as someone of mixed "race," but as a human and a person who believes that everyone deserves to be recognized for their identity, and not be confined to outdated boxes.

"We always talk about black people, white people, native american people, hispanic people but we never talk about mixed people like me"
MOST (not all) Hispanic/Latino people are Multigenerational Multiracial. Some are mulatto. Some are Mestizo. Some are Zambo. Most are Tri-racial.
Funny East/Southeast/South Asians were not mentioned. As well as Arabs, North Africans, Persians, Pacific Islanders, Horn Africans ..etc.

@hermanglimsher actually Obama calls himself black because during his formative years he was treated as one.
-
race mixing is not "genocide" some of you need you really need help. xenophobia is a bad thing to have
-
@hermanglimsher black people decide nothing, nor do they claim anyone, should clean up thier stinkin community before they talk about other people
-
General Rule:
Black people decide what race you are.
If it is good (Tiger Woods, Halle Bery, Barack Obama) black people claim you as their own. Even though Barack and Halle are only 50% black and were abandoned by their black fathers (what a surprise). Tiger is only about 25 % black.
If it is bad they will call you white.
-
I call it being a traitor. All of you all are traitors and you need to stick to your own kind and stop the race defilement.
-
Oh yes it does! Stick to your own kind!

Which one of us can say we're not a mutt? Go back 1000 generations and we're all the same.
No matter what you try to do she will always have that other side to her! She will never be just black or just white or anything like that! She is both white and black and you can't try to take her from her other side!

(Big Sigh) Can't I just be me? A person of mixed race? Can't I not be judged by what race I look the most like when I don't identify with that race? Can't it be OK to embrace all of my heritage without having to pick just one..Can't it ever be OK?
