This one has been conspicuously absent from YouTube for far too long - thanks for posting. Best Greg Kihn song ever - before he was an early '80s pop sensation. Great memories of growing up in the Bay Area in the late 1970s - I do remember.

I first heard this in early April 1984, I was in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany with less than 8 weeks left until I was finished

Chinatown was also a great track, diff lp. I messaged GK about the fact that none of this stuff is available on cd because I'm pretty pissed myself that I have to rely on my vinyl. His response was that it will all be released later in 2012. Not sure what tracks but I'm looking fwd to it.

I saw GKB a few times in the late 70's and this was 1 of their best tracks.

I think I remember in the late 70s Greg Kihn playing at the Albatross. An old club, long since closed, on the stretch of road between Capitola and Santa Cruz. It's a mile or so past the harbor. And I didn't get to that Catalyst concert but later heard that Satriani was the guitar player. Yet ANOTHER musical regret of mine!

Very unique song. Has a sound of its own. Great guitar sound.

Heres my Greg Khin story, Way way back, they played the Catalyst in Santa Cruz just starting out when Joe Satriani was the guitar player. We go up top and sit at some reserved table thinking wed get kicked out. Nope as it turned out Joes mother and a few dudes from NBC sat there and just let us sit with them. What a blast from the past. I remember that night like yesterday. We then saw Gregs son open for him there years later.

This song was slicker than owl shit, and cooler than a Siberian breeze, and still is. Greg Kihn was my SF idol, in his prime the same time I was living there. I saw him at an Old Waldorf concert. Those were the days, eh Greg?
Greg is the new radio host for 99.7 classic rock for tulary county in california :D im so lucky!!!!!

I suspect the intro is slightly too soft for most stations; a silly excuse not to play a great, great song more often.
