American post-punk very influenced by Joy Division. This one is from their second album called "Closely Watched Trains". Their first album "Leading Stolen Horses" reminds me more of Joy Division, since it is without the acoustic guitars.

  • @espsummer I'm said to say that I don't own any of their records. Luckely all of their material is up for download on different blogs.

  • Look up Eric Cope. He has a myspace page now (fan created?) with some other projects from that time.

  • I've got a cassette tape of some rehearsal stuff. There is a great one on it called "Sixteen Miles of Coal Cars". These guys were fantastic. Thanks for the post!
