T Incidentally a choir in Oxford performed an expanded version of the Ukulele Orchestras arrangement of this piece, "knitting together" lots of other tunes. At my suggestion, the arranger used additional tunes in the choral version, for example

The piece is based on a fragment which showed up in the 1927 revision of the old Beggars Opera (John Gay and "Dr" Pepusch).
