i love this song :] as for your mic, try usuing a pop-filter to reduce the vibrations on the mic's diaphram when you breathe on it. if you message me what type of mic you have, i could probably help you out. (i'm a recording engineer) a basic is singing about 3-5in from the mic, with the filter between you. make sure the mic is placed correctly too, a lot of people mess up on that- it's actualy really easy to mess up, so don't feel bad. :]

The microphone is actually connected to my headset, so I cannot really get the 3-5in distance to optimize the recording.

exactly not really easy to do recording sometimes i understand that ,,but too much vibration and echoes spoiled your golden voice ...and get 1 or 2 key up ..too deep.
