@presutton Well, he didn't play ALL the instruments, did he? If he didn't play bass and drums, then he played HALF the instruments.

I'm feeling this...

@IceCubeGaryNumanfan at least Numan and other are still around making strong albums, we can be thankful for that at least

@IceCubeGaryNumanfan Though I like most genres of music, I must say that the New Wave era of the 1980's were THEE BOMB!!! I came of age during this time and am thankful and privileged to been a part of it. Every decade gets it "second life" so to speak and 80's music is making a retro-comeback. Now that I'm older, I can appreciate this incredible decade even more than ever :-)

Your right the 2000's are very bad for music,

This has been my anthem for thirty years.

The bass synth in this live version sounds awesome, croaking, harsh - wish the studio version had as much balls!
-
"the Adolph Hitler Memorial Space Patrol" indeed - fuckin' GREAT!

@presutton compared to now, I think he looks really awkward back then.
I wish I was alive around this time to see this live sadly I have to grow up in the 2000's the worst era of music!

The astonishing thing about this is that Numan is only 21 years old here, and on his first tour, but with such confident stage presence; after having written all the songs and played all the instruments on the album except for drums and bass.
