In response to the audience and any who might have a negative outlook on it. We are conditioned to believe that we should be quiet and "respectful" during a live performance such as a play or musical. That is true if people are talking about something other than the performance at hand, however the reaction of this audience is EXACTLY what theater is meant to elicit. In the times of Shakespeare, they used to throw garbage at the actors on stage. She is getting nothing but love! It is a response.

People might think this is a cheap and disgusting act of recording and talking in theatre, but if not for this I would have never seen Fantasia perform this on broadway before. I would've never understood all the hype about her on The Color purple. After watching this I know understand. If I were there, I would've been screaming louder than these girls, nuff said.
