RIT on TV News: Center for Student Innovatioin

WHEC-TV (Channel 10) reports on the grand opening celebration of the new Center for Student Innovation at Rochester Institute of Technology.

And this story just back to our newsroom. The Rochester Institute of Technology is raising the bar as it becomes a global innovation university. RIT unveiled its new Center for Student Innovation today. Students helped design the 10-thousand square foot circular glass building, which will help foster leadership in technical innovation and the creative arts.

Director Ian Gatley: "I think the place itself creates a sense of expectation, when the people come here. They come here expecting to be creative and expecting to solve the problems. It's a very exciting place to work."

The center will help create new technologies, innovative products and service for business around the entire world.
